Introducing Tailor X: Your AI-Powered Wardrobe
After months of building in stealth, we're opening our beta to the public. Here's everything you need to know about what we've built and why.
Getting dressed shouldn't be hard. But for most people — even those with closets full of great clothes — it is. We spend an average of 17 minutes a day deciding what to wear. That's over 100 hours a year staring at a closet feeling like we have nothing to wear.
Tailor X was born from that frustration. We spent 18 months building a system that genuinely understands your style — not just your browsing history or your Instagram likes, but the deep structure of your aesthetic: the colors that work for you, the silhouettes you gravitate toward, the formality level that feels right in different contexts.
What we built
The core of Tailor X is a neural style engine trained to model personal taste as a high-dimensional vector. It analyzes 200+ style attributes per item and per person, building a taste profile that gets more accurate the more you use it.
On top of that we built a computer vision pipeline for wardrobe scanning. One photo per garment — that's all it takes. Our model classifies type, color, fabric, fit, formality, and style tags automatically. Most garments are cataloged in under 2 seconds.
And every morning, the system generates three outfit suggestions for your day — informed by your calendar, the weather, your past preferences, and the specific occasions you have coming up.

Tailor X is for anyone who cares about how they look and wants to make better use of what they already own. It's also for professional tailors who want a platform to run their client relationships, manage orders, and grow their business.
During beta, all Pro features are completely free. We want feedback more than money right now. Every rating you give, every outfit you wear, every suggestion you skip — it all makes the system smarter.
What's next
We're shipping fast. In the next 90 days we'll add the full tailor marketplace (book and pay tailors directly in-app), advanced style analytics dashboards, and seasonal wardrobe intelligence. Everything beta users ask for goes straight to the top of the backlog.
