When you use our services, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, name, profile photo, and account preferences when you register. We also collect usage data, device information, and wardrobe data you upload through our AI scanning features. All wardrobe images are processed on-device where possible and stored securely in Firebase Storage with encryption at rest.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data powers the Tailor X AI styling engine. We use your wardrobe scans and style preferences to generate outfit recommendations, connect you with tailors, and improve our AI models. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share aggregated, anonymized trend data with fashion industry partners.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Profile photos and wardrobe images are stored in Firebase Storage. All data transmissions use TLS 1.3. We implement access controls so that only you and authorized Tailor X services can access your personal data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and file storage. We use Google Analytics for product analytics. We do not embed advertising networks or sell behavioral data. Our beta app may integrate with shopping APIs (e.g. product recommendation links) with clear disclosure.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@tailorx.me. You have the right to access, correct, or export your data. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have rights under GDPR including data portability.
6. Beta Program
During the beta period, we collect additional telemetry to improve the product. This includes crash reports, feature usage patterns, and performance metrics. Beta users consent to this additional data collection as part of the testing program. You may opt out of analytics in Settings.
