Terms of Service
We know it's tempting to skip these Terms of Service, but it's important to establish what you can expect from us as you use Tailor X services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Tailor X account or using any Tailor X services (including the mobile beta app, this website, and any APIs), you agree to these Terms. If you're using Tailor X on behalf of a business, that business accepts these terms. These terms may change; we'll notify you of material changes by email.
2. Beta Program
The Tailor X mobile app is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable without notice. Beta features are provided 'as is' without warranty. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the beta at any time. Beta users receive Pro features free of charge during the testing period.
3. User Accounts
You must be 16 or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or use another person's account. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Report any unauthorized access immediately to security@tailorx.me.
4. Tailor Listings & Marketplace
Tailors who list services on Tailor X must be qualified professionals and accurately represent their skills and pricing. Tailor X is not a party to transactions between users and tailors. We are not responsible for the quality of tailoring services. Disputes between users and tailors should be resolved between the parties, though we may mediate in good faith.
5. Content & Uploads
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, wardrobe images, profile information). By uploading, you grant Tailor X a license to use that content to provide and improve our services — including training our AI models on anonymized, aggregated data. You must not upload content that violates third-party rights or is illegal.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not: reverse-engineer our AI models or apps; scrape our platform; create fake accounts; use the platform for spam or harassment; attempt to access other users' data; use our services for any unlawful purpose; or resell access to our platform without authorization.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailor X's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our services are provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee that AI outfit suggestions will meet your expectations.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California. For EU users, mandatory local consumer protection laws apply.
